Yay! I won a scholarship!
on: April 18, 2007, 02:48:26 PM
For a piano pedagogy conference this summer.  Granted it's a small scholarship, but it covers the conference fee, and of course at this stage in life, every little bit helps!

 :) :) :)
When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.

It is a meeting place for women with nothing better to do.

Thousands pour into the place on a daily basis to discuss the price of carrots and last nights television. Then, they all run to the checkouts at the same time to cause as much disruption as possible.

Best keep away.

it's a scam to connect you to stacks and stacks of method books - of which you will be tempted to buy.  therefore they will collect some sort of money from you somehow.

just kidding. imagine you'll have a good time.  but, don't be surprised if you end up buying something that you haven't a clue why you bought it by the time you get home.

I won't be buying any method books.  Perhaps some supplemental music though.  A lot of publishers set up with discounts.  Finances will be a bit tight anyway, so I will have to be careful with what I do decide to buy.

Hey Thal, I just saw an article on the news that Tesco is coming to America!
