Taking ABRSM exam, need help!

I am taking ABRSM exam this May. Will like you to view my recital and will apprtciate any advice to improve. Thanks in advanced.

You need help? I think you did well. These are the pieces that I would have chosen to play at this grade also, but I'm not as good as you!

For what it's worth, I think the Granados is your best piece. Bach was good, but I would like to hear more of the left hand in bars 3 and 4 for example (or is it less of the right?). Villa-Lobos piece sounded a wee bit rushed perhaps? Cluttered? maybe it's supposed to sound like that - he probably had his mind on some parisienne wench when he wrote it ;D

There, everyones a critic eh? I do hope that helps though. maybe one of the other more experienced pianists on here can provide some more thoughtful insight for you.

btw, just an aside.. did you consider performing any of the alternative pieces? I always figure that the examiners might get bored hearing the same old pieces time after time. So you either need to be a bit special, or cop out like I do and play the alternatives :o (I'm sure they would never be unprofessional at all, and they do listen to each performer with a fresh pair of ears, so to speak. Just my cynical nature)
