i have the last ninth word -for whatever it's worth.

what does playing czerny correctly prove anyways?  i think i feel hives coming on.  the last word on the subject is right ehre.  playing czerny correctly means that you have an edge on the last edge you had.  but, if played in too direct of a manner - it negates anything positive you once knew and gives you the illusion that you can do anything.  sort of like accidentally winning a game of poker.  it doesn't guarantee you will do anything but some other monkeyish stunt later.

opus10no2 will continue to be the best pianist by simply assuring people of his virtuoso abilities.  that is the key.  word of mouth.  say you are the best pianist - but you have no pr.  who are you.  a nobody.
