teachers in the Charlotte, North Carolina area
on: April 26, 2007, 11:13:31 PM
Does anyone by chance know if there are any good teachers in the Charlotte, NC area?  I will be moving there in a few months and will be looking for one.  Thanks.

There's the North Carolina Schools of the Arts... Clifton Matthews teaches there, and former pianostreet member Steinwayguy studies/d with him.

There's a good teacher a ways south in Greenville, SC.  It's a long drive.  PM me if you want the name.

Yes! Clifton Matthews is a great teacher!  I will be studying with him at NCSA next year!

NCSA is a bit of a drive from Charlotte.  If you're looking for something more local, check UNC Charlotte, or Queens University.
When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.

Yes, while Clifton Matthews is a great teacher, NCSA is in Winston-Salem (where I live now actually) and is probably too far away.  I was thinking of teachers more in the Charlotte Metropolitan area.
