Rach Sonate 2 - Horowitz
on: April 27, 2007, 10:50:52 AM
Dear forumeers,
I'm currently looking for the sheetmusic of Rachmaninof sonate n°2, in - I think - Horowitz' version.  Is the sheetmusic available in this forum ? Or does someone know the name of a publisher ?
Lots of thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to follow the Queen Elisabeth Contest, starting on May 5.  Good luck to any of the contestants that happen to read this.

Dear,

What is exactly meant by 'copywrite' ? -- Is there no publisher ? -- It must be for sale somewhere, no ? -- I'm particularly interested in the first movement...

Kindly.

copyrighted means that it is currently not in the public domain, but it can be bought.

It should be easy to find in the market, but till around 50 years after the composer's death, and work will not be in the public domain.

I fail to see how there can be any copyright, as to my knowledge Horowitz did not write down his own arrangements, they were worked out by others.

However, if in doubt, i guess it is best not to post.
