Finzi' Eclogue for Piano and String Orchestra
on: April 27, 2007, 03:35:21 PM
Hi,

I'm looking for Gerald Finzi's Eclogue for Piano and String Orchestra. Also, any tips on how to play/interpret it?

Thanks, Jeff

I don't have it, but as for interpretation, you'll find that Finzi writes for the piano in the piece as a choir rather than a piano, so you'll have to be able to bring out all the voices that are present at any moment. However, this results in some awkward figurations but the music is worth it.

I have it, but it's copyrighted. Sorry.
