need advice on acoustic piano
on: April 30, 2007, 06:04:44 PM
Hello, I would like to buy a piano that is easy to carry around and travel with (in airplanes).  It also needs to have headphones so that I can practice without bothering the neighbors....Any suggestions please ?

Thanks

Start looking at digitals, not acoustics. Acoustics are murder when you try to carry  them on an airplane.   ;)

Yamaha P series (P70, P80, P120 P140) or Roland FP-4 and and FP-7. Roland has a session partner and the touch is a little lighter (not necessarily better). The Yamahas, in my opinion, are well made.
They all have built in speakers.
