I was wondering how difficult the Rachmaninoff Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini is. How difficult would it compare to the other well-known piano concertos?

i think it is easier than his other concertos. I have not played any of them so I wouldn't know, but it looks not too difficult. Just one or two of the final variations sound tricky. My organ teacher said that memorizing the "improvisational sounding" variation (you know the one i mean) is hellish, but otherwise ok.
Grieg, Mozart, Haydn seem to be concertos lots of people begin with. And the Schumann...
