Kempff's compositions

I was unaware until recently that Kempff composed.  What are his pieces like?  Anybody like any of them?

I think most of his output were transcriptions and cadenza's, although i know he wrote a sonata and a string quartet.

I think his bach transcriptions have been recorded.
