omnivore, connector or lacklustre veteran?
on: May 06, 2007, 09:55:03 PM
Which category of technology user are you? (from a new Pew study)

 - Omnivores, who fully embrace technology and express themselves creatively through blogs and personal web pages

 - Connectors, who see the internet and mobile phones as communications tools

 - Productivity enhancers, who consider technology as largely  ways to better keep up with their jobs and daily lives.

 - Lackluster veterans, those who use technology frequently but aren't thrilled by it.

hehe, I would be a connecting productivity enhancer.  Just depends on what I am doing.
I'm an optimist... but I don't think it's helping...

I'm an omnivorously connected veteran productivity enhancer of the lacklustre (English spelling) kind but find nonetheless that the kind of communication technology that you mention in this context to be invaluable for helping to maintain dialogue with delightful Australian piano-playing journalists.

Somehow I find it hard to imagine Alistair jumping out at people, draped in a white sheet and shouting 'Boo'... although you never can tell, there's no accounting for taste!

Well, I can tell, for I've never done any such thing in my life, nor has it ever occurred to me to do so (you may be relieved to hear!)...

There's a relief... PS tends to be an odd enough place as it is without adding a resident spook to the mix!
