WENCHINGTON (1 day ago) marked as spam
filthy Lang Lang HE IS EITHER MENTALLY IMPAIRED, OR HIS EGO IS SO LARGE THAT HE BELIEVES HE CAN DO WHAT HE WANTS AND NO ONE CAN SAY ANYTHING AS THOUGH THE PIANO WARRANTS HIS ACTING LIKE A MONGOLOID, OR HE FEELS THAT HE PLAYS THE PIANO LIKE A SAVANT SO HE SHOULD FILL IN THE REST OF THE PIECES
Haha, legendary comments also.

there are different kinds of crazy. here's another one:

here's vladimir horowitz playing his version:

as i see it - we are moving from crazy to craziest. also, the most willing to be far from the keyboard - to closer - to closest. vladimir never really goes that far from the keyboard with his hands. therefore he gets the best pianissimos.
ps is it just me - or do i find it odd when lang lang looks around and is in the wrong octave range for awhile. i think he prerecorded this and then looked around. vladimir - on the other hand, keeps close eye on what he's doing. it just looks more credible - although two very different pieces of music.
to give lang lang credit - i think he does orchestrate prokofiev? well. his percussive sounds are not harsh.
