I love a person who doesn't care what others think and lives by their own convictions.
perhaps we are all at fault. i think the main reason is greed. if everyone shared - nobody would be trying to make a statement so desperate. if even Jesus said 'noone is good, excepting God...' when someone said 'good Master' - then we must all be at fault in the demise of the world as it was. and yet - the samaritan was called good because of his small deeds of timely kindness. instead of doing large evil deeds - i think everyone should start doing small good deeds every day. thinking what they can do to make the world a better place. a friend of mine relayed a story about buying a case of peaches at a farmer's market. he was carrying the case for a little distance, and saw a couple of homeless guys and offerred them a peach. when he did not ask for money afterwards - they heartily thanked him. he kept going and saw an older man who was slowly plodding along with a walker. he asked him if he wanted a peach. the man asked 'are you a christian?' he said, 'well, i consider myself a disciple of Christ.' then, he said - i have always had low blood sugar and was feeling that i was going to faint - this peach will probably save my life (ok don't laugh). then, he gets home with still so many peaches that he starts handing them out to the neighborhood. i would rather see people throw peaches at one another than hear about another car bombing. and, about pointing the finger - there are always four pointing back. we can't really decide other's fates - but we do decide our own. i think it is by what we say and do. i mean if you are a christian - you have to do what Christ did. he didn't accuse people very much. He just attempted to be the best example by what he said and did.
Now I can scratch him off my list of "Top 100 People Who Need to Die for the World to be a Better Place"
Hmm... who will you replace him with ?!Walter Ramsey
