I suppose it's success so far has rested on the fact that posts don't have to be long, and people get a certain satisfaction from defying logic by posting here.

i suppose you're trying to impress me.  well, it worked.  blindfolded?  and how do you manage that?  oh.  i know - you peek under the blindfold with the left eye and put the directions in front of the right eye.  you know.  the ones you can print off the internet on 'how to solve a rubics cube.'  although, my son said they didn't work.  (my daughter, the smart one, was the one i caught pulling the colored tapes off and rematching them to each side).

I had a friend do that to my cube.  He says "I'll solve it, but you have to wait behind the door".  From then on the stickers wouldn't stay on.  It gave me a good excuse to throw that godawful thing away.

Yes, I solved them blindfolded many, many times.  I would mess it up again before removing the blindfold.

I was joking.  Alla Thalbergmad I thought.  But I have to admit.. I am impressive aren't I?  :p  I vaguely remember something about kid geniuses solving them blindfolded on tv. 

I believe my rubrix cube is probably sitting in a box or got sold a long time ago after I fiddled with it for awhile, got frustrated, and gave up.  I was just turning things around and around with that.

Now the flat one, the rubix "magic" or whatever it was called, I solved that a few times, although I don't think I was sure how I did it.

I'm sort of starting to like these forums... Although it's taking a while to get used to since everybody around here is different than on any other forum I'm on. I don't know how everybody can post things that are so trivial and hard to understand all at the same time
