So when was the original word association thread?

We all know mikeyg's "Who think's it's time for another word association thread" is the all-time best-selling juggernaut of pianostreet with about 6800 replies to date.

Truly amazing.

But--he says "another" word association thread......so where was the original?  Were there any threads before his?

In fact it was I, Nightscape, who was the originator of the word association threads about 2 and a half years ago here on this site (maybe even longer than that).  The thread is called "fall" and you may find it by either searching for that or looking at my previous posts, I'll try and get the exact one and give you the link.

But I can't take complete credit for it, as I got the idea from my university internet forum, where someone had started a "fall" thread and it immediately became popular.

Wow, Nightscape, thanks for the link.  I can't believe I now know the original word association thread.  A piece of PF history there.
