WARNING!!
These pieces can SERIOUSLY damage your fingers and are totally pointless.
Everyone knows that all you need to do to become a great pianist is to play Scarlatti and read Chang.
Anyone that is prepared to put in at least 10 minutes a day, can easily achieve Grade 8 in under 2 years from scratch.

Op. 740 is great.
You can be a good kid, Thal.
But thanks for being a good sport and ULing nonetheless.

For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert. (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

Wow, I'm of the same opinion as Thalbergmad, and would gladly send my book to you free of charge if I knew where you lived. lol(It looks rather new actually, since I've not touched it for like forever[my teacher somehow forgot about it; I thought I was going to play the WHOLE thing...)

That's the price you pay for being moderate in everything. See, if I were you, my name would be Ilovepie. But that's just me.

Czerny seems to put many more melodies and harmonic variations into this opus though - some of them are more etude like rather than just your average Czerny studies.
