printable flashcards
on: June 16, 2007, 09:15:43 PM
Does anyone know of a link to online flashcards that you can print out yourself on cardstock?

I found a page several weeks ago ... someone had PDF pages with about 9-12 little cards per page - I have searched a thousand times for it and cannot find it again.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about & where to find it?

These particular little cards did not have a treble or bass clef sign, so you could draw them in yourself as needed......

TIA~

A.

Well ... since posting this question, I ended up making some of my own.

I'll attach them in case anyone is interested. I hope it's useful for someone. :)

so am I ... It only took me about 1.5 hrs to make these ... and I've spent the past week trying to find the ones online I printed out before, just to avoid making them myself. Think of the time I could've saved if I wasn't so lazy, LOL!

Mine turned out pretty small - I hope that's OK. I just hate to buy multiple sets of flashcards just to get a full staff of notes - kwim?

Cheers!

I made some flashcards that are ready to print off that are posted on my website.  There are tons of other printable games and resources as well.  The link is www.laytonmusic.com - just click on games and resources.

Hope they help!

Cool! and bigger too, mine are rather tiny... :P

You're welcome!  I hope you find the games and resounces helpful.  I have just made them here and there over the years, and figured they were not doing much good just sitting on my hard drive, so I posted them for others to use.  If there's anything you'd like me to make, drop me an e-mail at dnetlayton@yahoo.com and I'll add it to my list of things I want to make.  May take me awhile, but eventually, I'll get to it.   ;)

Thanks again.  You are very generous.  I did have an email written to you, but got distraced and never finished.  When I get some ink in my printer, I'll most certainly print some of your ideas.  Reminds me of a college project we had to do, think of games to teach music.  Mine weren't as inventive as yours.  I came up with a puppet to teach rhythm.  Never used him!  Oh well, I know I will use your ideas.

Well, hieraglyphics are my font of choice!  ;D  I can try sending you a file as a text attachment if you'd like.  When my technical guru husband comes home, I'll ask him if he has any ideas.
