...anything at all, what would that be?

Bonus point:  Name the originator of this question.

I CAN change things. Why "could?" The question is, if I can do these changes wisely or not, so they become productive and not counterproductive. If i would decide to emigrate to Vietnam next year, this would probably be very counterproductive for my further life. But if I sense deeply in myself that such an emigration needs to take place, from the standpoint of organizing my life wisely, I would do it.

As for the bonus: I think I read something like that a while ago on ps but I don't remember who started it.

mayla.  unless it was opus10#2.  why do we want to change our life?  there's enough people around us that want to change us.  unless God is trying to change us or get our attention.  then, i would say - ok.  what is it this time?  what did i do?  ok.  must change that.  the only way one finds out what to change is to read the bible.  it's change that can take place no matter where you are.  i mean - the most ascetic people can have major mental problems.  and yet - i would say on the whole - the ones with lots of money can have them too.  not to mention names - but paris h. is probably wondering how in the world she ended up in jail.  if she didn't have so much money then, nobody would have cared.  so, money isn't good sometimes.  sometimes anonymity.

I wouldn't have married my first wife, (pregnant dog from hell).  :'(

But, If I hadn't have done that, everything after would be different.  :-\

I wouldn't have met my wife, nor had my two lovely step-daughters to wind me up for the last ten years.  ;D

So, I would change nothing.  8)

Shorty

P.S. I'd have more fingers please.  ::)

EDIT: where did the pregnant dog come from ???? (B1TCH)
If God really exists, then why haven't I got more fingers?

Oh I see.

No, no.  I was watching a movie.  That question is the exact (I think) words from the characters mouth.   That's what I meant by originator.  Who said it and in what movie?

I thought it was interesting.  The idea being that you then have a goal and can start working on making that thing happen.  I suppose the more precise question is "If you could change one thing about your present situation, something within your power to change, what would that be?"

I share the same philosophy as Woody Allen:

My one regret in life is that I am not someone else.

I would put in sync my head and my heart.
