Website with Free Games and Resources
on: June 21, 2007, 06:38:22 AM
I posted this on the flashcards thread, but thought others might be interested.  I have uploaded a bunch of games, flashcards, and other resources to my website.  They are free to download and use.  I have made them here and there over the years, and decided they were doing little good sitting on my hard drive, so to the website they went!

You can find them at www.laytonmusic.com - just click on the games and resources button.  If you have any ideas for things you'd like to see there, let me know, and I'll add it to my list of things to make.  Also, let me know if you find any errors or other things that need fixing.  My e-mail is dnetlayton@yahoo.com.

Hope you find some things that will be helpful!  :D

Thank you very much for the link to your games etc.  It was so helpful to have them all in one place! Most of the time when I find something I think will be useful and fun with my students, I save it in My Favorite and then I can never find them again:-)I just got a laminating machine and one of my first attempts will be at laminating some of the cards.

Glad you like the games, and you will LOVE the laminating machine.  I invested in one a couple of years ago.  It takes a lot of time to laminate everything, but so worth it!

Lamintating machine?

Yup!  I just love mine.  I bought it from E-bay a couple of years ago.  Just google 12 inch pouch laminator and you'll see some similar to what I bought.

Thanks for the kind words.  I do appreciate it!  :)

I updated my website, and have added a couple of games, my trophy incentive chart, lesson assignment pages with composer facts for the new year, and if your have Microsoft Publisher, 8 business cards you can put your information on and print. I hope some of you can find the new files/ideas helpful. Let me know if you have any ideas for future resources!

Just go to www.laytonmusic.com, and click on the games and resources link.  Now I just need to go back and make the pictures smaller so they load faster.  Ah, well - I'll have to leave that for another night.

Just posted some more things on the website.  Landmark flashcards, tic-tac-toe games, and a few other things.  I'll have another update with a shopping game soon.

I have been busy procrastinating things that need to be done lately, and have several new games added to my website.  I also have a couple of Christmas games ideal for those who do group classes.  You can see them at www.laytonmusic.com/games.htm
