What is ^^, i see it often in this forum and on others.

It is really bugging me that i do not know what ^^ is.

Please explain.

In german, it's "scheinheilig", my dictionary translates this to "feigned innocence"   ^^

I see this a lot too but instead of doing ^^ why not just indicate happyness by doing :-) ? I think we should ban using the ^^.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that ^^ is in fact, yes, a moustache symbol.  If you haven't grown one yet, I highly recommend you get started right now.  For those of you that are still trying, the ^^ will help add an air of class to all of your posts.

There's no need to be confused.  Trust me.  Everything will become clear once you get a 'stache.

I am disappointed that the smileys don't all have moustaches.  I think that would add that special touch of class that only a moustache can give.
