hello forum i been learning the piano for the last 4 years i like to make a 5 years plan i want to be a good player in five years ,i like to get your recommendation, like what piece to learn that are of the most importan for a piano student to learn i hope you get it my english is no great but i'm t my best.

these are pieces that you should learn

- J.S Bach Inventions& Prelude and Fugue
- Mozart/Beethoven/Haydn/Schubert Sonatas
- Clementi/Kulah/Mozart/Beethoven Sonatinas
- pieces by Chopin/Mendelssohn/Schubert/Schumann
- 20th Centuary pieces
 and studies
J.S Bach Italian Concerto,Beethoven Sonata op.2 no.2,Mozart Sonatas K.330&333,Chopin Scherzo no.2,Etude op.10 no.12&Fantasie Impromptu

Not everybody would agree on this but my piece of advice would be to start with Liszt as soon as you can. It opens your pianistic mind and skills in a unique way.

Needless to say, I'd rather start with consolations than with the B minor sonata. ;D

...i'll still be good to learn a couple of sonatinas and sonata's and J.S Bach's preludes and fugues are really important.Can't comment on Liszt cauz my teacher in singapore never taught me a single piece of his, now i've been with a new teacher for 3 yrs...and she's gonna let me learn a Liszt soon.

i learn 11 inventions out of 15 i have learn some prelude & fugue do you reconmend all 48 prelude 48 fugue or just any particulars one .

i really don't know what my level is i can tell you what i can play ok

bach prelude & fugue  book 1   # 1-2-20
                                    book 2   #  15

clementi  sonatinas  1-2-3-6

chopin mazurka in g minor op 67 no 2

           mazurka in a minor op67 no 4
           prelude in e minor op 28 no 4
           waltz in c-sharp minor op 64 no 2 and some czerny etude and beethoven sonatas
