tom selleck doesn't play the piano
on: June 25, 2007, 01:32:40 PM
does he?

i mean - he's not particularly dexterous.  football vs fine motor skills of piano?  falling over chairs vs refinement and grace?  big teeth vs good for publicity for a pianist?  what can i say? tom selleck could sell toothpaste better than piano.

aha.  i see. you are preparing for a broadway play 'a thousand clowns' and you thought you'd get inspiration from this forum about how to find the right piano teacher for your supposed nephew.  well, all i have to say - is find the social worker who plays piano and then you won't have to pay for the social work AND piano lessons.

What did Tom Selleck ever do to you?!?  If it wasn't for him you couldn't easily distinguish gay people by their facial hair, which has allowed the gay community to florish.

Thank you Mister Selleck <3

i didn't realize moustaches indicated anything but virility.  i mean - who grows a moustache to announce to the world they are gay.  i just don't believe it.  show me a sign, soliloquy, that says 'all gay men have moustaches.'

ps  also, balding men tend to grow hair wherever they can.

Tom Sellick has a point...  A strong 'stache is a point of balance, like the beam of a tightrope walker growing right out of your face!  Very useful in having a stable centre in piano playing.

This guy probably has never fallen over in his life:

Women pianists are all the more impressive for doing it without the advantage of a moustache.  Except m1469 of course

Well spake rc.  A moustache does lend balance.  Not only horizontally but vertically as well.  That's really a big plus when it comes to playing the piano isn't it?

Hey!  Did you know I'm working on a new movie?  That's right.  If you like Starsky, the Dukes, and Transformers, then you'll love my new movie.  Magnum P.I.  Yep, that right.  Moustache and all.  We are back!  I'm planning on upgrading my Casio keyboard with the money this cash cow will bring in.
I highly recommend that everyone at least tries growing a moustache.  It will do wonders for your piano playing.
