Beethoven Piano Concerto in Bb Major
on: June 25, 2007, 11:45:42 PM
1) My piano is flat by almost a semi-tone and is WAY out of tune. So, try to ignore the honkey tonk effect.

2) I am posting this for tips on how to record better videos, not necessarily to have my playing judged. I did this recording very quickly and didn't pay much attention to details (they don't come across on a digi cam anyway). This said, if you feel you must comment, knock yourself out ;).

3) Is there any way to film with a digital camera and insert the audio afterwards? I just bought two Beringer condenser mics, and am planning on setting up a mini recording studio in my living room.

Oh ya...the video: www.youtube.com/mcgill969
Asked if he had ever conducted any Stockhausen,Sir Thomas Beecham replied, "No, but I once trod in some."

...yup. Just use VirtualDub to replace the sound track of the movie.

Nevertheless, you're obviously a fine pianist.  Looking forward to hearing more when get the tech stuff ironed out.  And, could you please contact your local piano technician for a tune up?  ;D
Current repertoire:  "Come to Jesus" (in whole-notes)

The decent technicians in Montreal are all booked solid  :'(
I have to either get a crap technician (which is pointless) or wait until August!!! I will, however, at least get it tuned and raise to the right pitch! :P
