Hi there! So. I have alot of hard classes next year, most of which decided to start by giving us multiple assignments this summer.
The problem? I'm pretty lazy, and really really really am not interested in Wuthering Heights. At all.
So, does anyone have any useful information, points, plot summaries, etc. of Wuthering Heights?

Well...yeah! Thanks.

Greetings

What is so complicated about it? A guy is created, but doesn't know that he is artificial. He is at first friendly and happy with himself. After finding out of his creation be becomes agitaded and angry and dangerous. Lesson: What you don't know won't hurt you.

Years ago while reading "Wuthering Heights", I got very "worked up" over the characters and the intensity of the plot. If a writer can achieve that emotion in a reader, maybe she has got something. Don't dismiss the book.

I've always heard Wuthering Heights was a pretty intense book.

I'll read it for ya, but I can't guarantee that it'll be in time for the assignment. :P

I wonder how far she would get in the word association game  ::)

From what I've read thus far, Wuthering Heights is not my type of book, although I have all faith that it's a good book.
As far as school assignments go, I'm more of a Lord of the Flies/Fahrenheit 451 person.

I love Lord of the Flies.  Someone should write an opera on it!

Lots of potential there.  I mean tribal fury, breakdown of social structure, war, hunting, death, not to mention cool sound effects with the conch.  Great opera material.

Looks like a work for someone like Stravinsky. I too love Golding's "Lord of the Flies."

Plus the base savage nature of man, once he is removed from society. will he revert to a natural dog-eat dog state?!

I heard on the radio today that chimps are altruistic...  They got some people the chimps had never met before to try and grab a stick out of their reach, when they saw the person having trouble 12 out of 17 chimps helped him get the stick.

So, if you're stranded on an island, make friends with the chimps...  and don't trust the choirboys
