Women - Positive Affirmation Voice Recordings
on: June 30, 2007, 01:11:25 PM
Hi all. As you may or may not know, I day trade futures and I was interested in making my own Positive Affirmation Recordings to coach myself. Although I got the idea to do this on my own I found a website that actually sells one, you can hear a sample of the recordings here:

https://www.trading-naked.com/

Although I would like to buy it, I would like to compose my own affirmations but I prefer them spoken by a female with an accent, preferably American/Canadian or British. Although any women willing to record their voice without music will be fine.

If you are interested, below are some transcripts of the affirmations in the sample above. I prefer recordings to be in wav or mp3 format. Thanks.

1) You frequently visualise trades from beginning to end. The recognition of patterns, the risk assessment, the strategy, the entry and protection, placing orders, working your trade, trailing the market with stops and placing the order to exit the trade if not exited by the stop.

2) Don't concern yourself with any loss while trading, as all losses are within your risk tolerance for each trade.

3) Don't concern yourself with any loss while trading, you are unaffected, you go to the next trade, you are in the now moment.

pianistimo, I have purchased the CD, just placed the order today. I was reluctant to buy it because some of the Affirmations begin with "You are favoured by God.." and I am wondering if this is hypocritcal. I am neutral, leaning toward the non-existance of GOD. What do you think of GOD favouring people to prosper financially?

There is no reference in the bible, that God created money.

I think, Satan invented money  8)

i think counterpoint gave a very good answer.  after all, Jesus said 'give unto caesar the things due to caesar, and unto God - the things due to Him...' or something like that.  so, in effect - the only things that God considers due is respect, love, and an honest day's work.  people used to do a lot of farming and have control over more of their money and businesses.  nowdays we have to rely on others to help us get along.  this, to me, seems very backwards.  whoever works should eat - is the biblical proscription.

also, in terms of tax money -   basically, there would only be welfare for people who were elderly, injured or mentally incapable of helping themselves.  the idea that middle aged people would promote insurance related fraud and live off of it for 20 years is ridiculous to a healthy lifestyle and way of viewing the world.  same with medical insurance.  if people pay into it - they get it - unless extreme poverty is affecting them.

honesty is the best policy for becoming rich.  there are different kinds of riches.  one is being able to sustain whatever business you are in and help it grow.  another is investing and becoming smart about money itself (what you are doing).  and, lastly, riches that are related to job satisfaction.  most people on this forum seem more interested in the last one.  so, they are still rich.  perhaps happier than the majority of people who have an 8-5 job that does not provide mental stimulation to their artsy side.

i just took a free career test and found that i scored highest in arts, second highest in organization, and third in education i think.  from this - i deduced that when people find what they are good at - they are not only happy but also using skills that seem to be natural for their personality.  people are more likely to pay you well for what you are good at.
