hahaha... well, some people might have their settings to viewing the thread after you post it

I just figured out what went wrong.  

The view count goes up as soon as you click on the thread.  But the post count doesn't go up till after you post.  So there's a little discrepency for a while.

PITFALL:   If you post twice in less than sixty seconds, it will not let you post, and you' ve just viewed, thereby involuntarily  wrecking it for everyone.  So take your time.

yeah, i knew that. But unless those 2 extra views are from 2 people taking a long time to post, i think this thread has got poop on it then. So there isn't anyway to fix this?

Guys, I hate to break this to you, but I've determined that for every post, the view count goes up.  So basically, this thread is now fu**ed.  There's no way to catch up with the views.  Everyone has to cooperate from the beginning, and it seems that's tough for some people to do.

We may have to just create a topic so compelling that no one will be able to view it without saying something.  Hmmm......perhaps a thread about hydrogen powered cars.....oh, no, wait, natural gas powered cars....that would be goood.  Then everyone would post.

Problem is, that even the EASY threads to post on (ie, the word association threads) go unposted by most viewers.  Also, if you create a title like "DON'T POST HERE AT ALL", as a codename for us who wanna play this game, then people will view out of curiosity...
