Why do South Africans say "hey" after every sentence?

Yes, there is or was SA members. What's his name again, hmm can't remember right now.

"hey" is just a Afrikaans word some people say instead of "you know" in English. But Afrikaans is almost the same as Dutch, yes.

If you can help me to find some SA members I would appreciate it.

Sorry guys, but its really awsome to find a local on this site. You guys won`t believe me, but there are such a small amount of classical pianists in SA, aspecially in Cape Town where I live!

Danyalswan was South African, but she has not posted in ages, hey.

One of my favourite pianists (Petronel Malan) is South African, but i am not sure if she still lives there, hey.

I have recently helped her with some scores for her latest CD, called Transfigured Beethoven. Included are the world premier of the Beethoven-Tausig transcriptions.

No, she lives in America at the moment. (All our good pianists have left the country...but thats obvious, its SOUTH AFRICA...)

I went to her concert last hear in Cape Town`s city hall where she performed Tchaikovsky`s First Concerto. It was brilliant!!!

And she is beautiful aswell!

I desperately need some South African friends on this site!
