what would be the difference in level between sonata 104, liszt and liebrestraum no. 3.  thanks

What Sonata 104, and which Liszt? We're willing to help, but you're going to need to be more specific. Most Liszt is above grades however, and I believe the Liebestraume is too, though it's one of his less difficult pieces, IMO.

If you want a more precise difference we need details ;)

the liebrestraum no.3 is a grade 10 piece. For Beethoven Sonata 104 pls be more specific, state the Op. and No.

LoL, im pretty sure he\she means to compare the sonetto del petrarca 104 and the 3rd liebestraum, both by Liszt.

The Sonata, typically. Though it always depends on what kind of pianist you are.

There is a big difference between a Sonata and a Sonetto

I would say they are both quite equal difficulty-wise, with the sonetto having the edge in hard passages.
