The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

It was a bit fast for my taste. It kind of sounded like you rushed some parts, esp. the sixteenth runs. Other than that, lovely little piece. Thanks for sharing!

Good job!

I think you could do more with phrasing and dynamics.  Right now it seems a bit cold.  The 16th runs could be a bit better articulated -- that would solve what I believe beethovenlover was commenting on about rushing.

Also, I don't have the score, but the rit at the end seems a bit long.  Perhaps a shorter rit at the end?
