Facebook.com

has anyone here tried it?
I used to not like it, found it confusing and somewhat of a knockoff of myspace.
But now, I'm learning to really like it. Yay!

I'm on facebook.  I think most of the college population of the U.S. is - it began as a sort of 21st century face-book at Harvard, and expanded outward, adding other college networks one by one.  Now it's sort of a free-for-all.  Who else is on Facebook?

I like facebook.  MUCH better than myspace.

I also have 2 myspaces... I liked facebook more in the beginning because it was a college clique and streamlined in that respect.  Now they have their "applications" which basically amount to me getting a zillion requests to become a pirate or a zombie or whatever.

Myspace is ok, the bugs are numerous.  I got a fake phishing warning from myspace a few weeks ago.  grrr!

It will only be a matter of time before facebook allows you to skin your profile...

I gave it a shot and actually like it.  It's useful to organize get-togethers and remember birthdays

Just to be clear, I like facebook better for personal space.  For artistic purposes (ie. music) myspace kicks facebook's a.ss.

Confession:  In like 4 years I now have well over 700 friends on facebook.  The majority I actually do know in real life -- just had to search for people and found some I hadn't seen in 20 years or more!

Facebook is amazing.  I had a myspace at one time, but I much prefer facebook because I never get lewd offers from complete strangers on facebook.  Also, when browsing other profiles on facebook I am never assaulted with loud, awful music and gaudy, flashy colors and text.  I simply hate the idea of having to choose my "top friends" as well.

Facebook is a great discovery. Its amazing how useful it is. In reuniting and making plans etc.
I think its cool.
Myspace was also cool. But as mentioned lots of awefully cheesey music, slow to load, huge bandwidth consumption, strangers, eww, etc.

I was just thinking since many of us have facebook, then perhaps we should all be facebook friends?  I'll post the link to my profile and would encourage others who are interested to do the same.  Please don't post your profile if you're underage. ;)
