Topic: Global Warming Causing Worse Hurricanes in Atlantic  (Read 1120 times)

Isn't this bad science? If the world is getting warmer shouldn't there be a decrease in severe weather? As I remember, strong winds are caused by an atmospheric pressure difference between areas caused by warm air rising and cool air falling. If all the air is getting warmer equally, why should this create worse storms? Anyone care to explain?  ???

Global warming doesn't cause hurricanes directly.

But severe weather does increase in some places.



Since the seawater is hotter hurricanes will be stronger.

i suppose fat people are also responsible for hurricanes?!  (just going with thalberg's idea).
