GreetingsLaughter, pride, fear, hate, cries, lies, joy, friendship, name-calling, flame wars, divulging private secrets, love, what more could a forum have? This forum has experienced so much emotion, both positive and negative, that I doubt that anyone could point out a forum that packs more than this one. This has got to be the most sensitive forum ever, and even though many of such contributers of joy were short lived and banned, we owe much to them for making this place what it is.
You get this in every forum, and every forum has one common characteristic: More than 90% of people posting on them are imbeciles.
Don't forget about the drama llamas/instigators.And yeah, I remember when this thread was posted debussy Personally I think making a thread to whine about it is being a bit more sensitive than me being offended by your remarks.Or is this just your way of asking to see my penis (again)?

Actually, a forum has to possess certain attributes to it to make it possible for it to sustain such debates. A forum has to be the right size. If it is too small, then obviously, there is not going to be much impetus to fuel debates, and if a forum is too big, then no one will really get to know each other and there will be too many people to keep track of for anything serious to happen.
Not really. It only requires a few members to have a clash in views & opinions. One forum I use boasts 74000+ members but there are only a handful of active posters. Most just lurk or post occassionally when they are driven to say something. Out of these there is only 1 member that almost everyone knows and either likes or hates. He stirs up a frenzy whenever he posts.
