I plan to play the Dukas Piano Sonata in recital in late fall, I would like to hear your recommendations for a work or works to fill out the concert.  Thank you.

There are some excellent transcriptions of The Sorcerers Apprentice, notably Garban, Sandor & Leyetchiss.

Perhaps that might be suitable.

You might need something virtuostic/popular to lure people to your concert, at which you will amaze them not with the awesomeness of your virtuostic/popular piece, but your Dukas sonata.

A Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody might just do the trick. :)
