Hosting sample mp3's for studio website
on: August 18, 2007, 09:30:19 PM
I'm authoring a small website for a group of teachers / performers.  Right now we have a registered domain, but our web space is hosted on one of our ISP's with limited space.

I'm looking for a place to host mp3's of sample performances.  Anybody know of any free sites?  Something along the lines like photobucket, but for mp3's instead of pictures.

I created a myspace music account, but they only allow limited number of files.  Not enough for our needs.

This is only an interim solution, as eventually we would like to move the site to a dedicated hosting company.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

There is
www.putfile.com (though they sometimes seem to delete files because of "copyright" even if these files are your own compositions, as I experienced, argh >:()
www.box.net
www.fileden.com  (but this one has annoying ads and you must log in at least every 30 days otherwise your files will be deleted)
