this..place. it's crazy! so much information, so much! it just keeps going and going and information is repeated with the search function under used.

i just want it to be a clean slate, or just have the important topics stay.

Greetings

What would be more surreal if this forum represented the kind of place you suggest it should be. Simply, a forum cannot bypass natural human tendencies and develop into that pristine notion of a "clean slate."

Well of course it can; whether will it is in question.

Well Lau, holding up your emotions isn't going to help yourself or the forum.

oh my, what a mistake is said can instead of will..really, are you that technical?

holding my emotions will help the forum, and it will help myself. because i know i will not be able to crush this forum, and i don't want to anyway...since it seems you are so technical i don't really want crush the forum....i do, it's just i know a lot of people use this forum and i wouldn't want to take it away from them.

so really the reason i won't crush the forum is

 1. i can't         2.  i want to but won't because it takes it away from some people.

I was just seeking semantic clarification.

Holding in your emotions will hinder the forum in a more subtle way. Should you release them now, you are not likely to relinquish too much emotions, and thus your actions might be pardoned. However, bottled up emotions will cause a more massive rupture, that could result in your banning. It is good that you feel respect towards others.

..k       debussy if i keep these emotions bottled up nothing is going to happen because these emotions aren't a fricken big deal!! just like how you thought i was some sort of a animal abuser because i put a bird in the freezer for 5 seconds.

hence, there will be no massive rupture because these emotions will probably be gone by the time this thread goes to page 2 in anythingbutpiano.

and for future reference don't use such big words with me, i had a tough time understanding...i know it's your preference, but it's wise to only use them with people who have your preference. unless your aim is to sound smart with me.

We all feel stressed at times, and there is no reason to feel angry because of it.

well, that seemed random. seriously what the freak.. do i sound angry? if i didn't say fricken and use the exclamation mark it probably would have sounded nicer, oh well.

oh and there is a reason to feel angry from stress. the reason is simply you're angry because your stressed out. stress is the reason you're angry

best wishes,
Lau

I wasn't pertaining to you in particular. Anger is a fleeting emotion, being a response to a negative stimuli. If the negative stimuli is a trivial one, much like anything found on this forum that causes anger, then naturally, any feelings of anger that arise from such a confrontation are senseless. If a forum is causing you stress, you then stress for the wrong reasons.

Can you point out to me some of those big words so that I could resort to smaller ones?

Pardon me if I may sound so bold, but isn't it a goal of most people to not sound stupid?

The goal of writing is to convey a clear message through articulate means. In no way am I suggesting that my writing is articulate, as I am prone to as many grammar mistakes as others are, and sometimes the message I try to represent isn't always clear. However, I must say that if one tries to apply his writing in a more coherent fashion, the message one intends to send out will be better perceived by others. I am not saying your's or anyone else's writing is bad however.

Most people's goal is to get the message across.  Often simplicity is the best way, and trying to elaborate to cover all bases actually does the opposite and obscures the message.

Lawyers are very elaborate and semantic, so much that people can't understand anything they say or write and have to hire one to translate.

It's one thing that's always bothered me about the internet is that it attracts the types who are so preoccupied with sounding smart that they get into semantic arguements when they could just understand the simple message based on context.

right rc...the point of language is to understand eachother. DS, your actually being very un-articulate by using words that i can't understand. didn't i already say this?
