Your opinion on final fantasy
on: August 27, 2007, 08:14:50 AM
I only watched the first part of advent children and I thought the graphics were great but the storyline's a bit weird.. Its  not that I don't have an imagination or anything, but I mean COME ON!! The main character's weird too.. He makes weird noises all the time.

Btw, I just watched Saw 2 on star movies and I LOVED IT!!! But I think amanda's too bimbotic to come up with future games to play with her victims.

For me, FF8 is the best part of the series. FF10 close to that, but the story is not that good.
I like them, because they combine good storytelling with excellent game mechanics (gathering and crafting items, finding secrets, character development etc).

I liked Final Fantasy X but X-2 was utter rubbish. I liked the tunes in FFX and can play them on a piano.

I love FF10, and I used to be able to play some stuff from it, but I've stopped learning them.
What sets it apart from the other ones for me, is the battle system. I don't like being rushed, and FF8 and FF10-2 have a rushed battle system, rather than FF10, which is turn based.

I'm a big fan of FF. I'm playing One Winged Angel FF7, Treno FF9, Kuja's Theme FF9, Slide Show Part 2 FF8, The Castle FF8. It's great music in a the final fantasys.

The film disappointed me a little. It's great when Sephiroth's finally arrives, but it could have been better.

BTW the best final fantasy is number FF8 then comes 7 then comes 9 and 10. 10.2 stinks, 11 seems a lot better than 10.2, but i don't play it anymore, so it's not so good.

The Macalania Woods music is pretty good "macarena temple" hehe. Eyes on me is, in my opinion, probably the best song every written in that type of music. Although i don't really hear a lot of songs like that.. hehe.  ;)

Did you play FFVII? Maybe thats why its weird, because you migt not have played it? I wouldn't know because i haven't seen advent children yet.

FF is one of my favorite RPGS series, next to Xenosaga, Kingdom Hearts and .Hacks. Heres my favorite in order:
1. FFX
2. FFIX
3. FFVIII
4. FFX-2(could be number one too, Its really fruity, but i like the ending, when Tidus comes back)
5. FFVII

I hate FFXII, its the worst one. Btw, incase anyone here is a huge fan of the FF series and Kingdom Hearts series, on September 20-25 theres going to be a game show in Tokyo, and there going to announce FFXIII release date along with more info about it, and the new title for Kingdom Hearts is also going to be announced (and for those who were really disapointed about FFXII, this games going to be a whole lot better than that one. The same team who made FFX and the guys who designed the Kingdom Hearts battle system are working on this game, i just hope Nobuo Uematsu does the music).

You can change that in the Settings...to make the battle become turn-based

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive. But according to recent research, a robotic exoskeleton hand could help pianists improve their speed of performing difficult pianistic patterns, by overcoming the well-known “ceiling effect”.
