good bbq rib recipie
on: August 27, 2007, 09:49:01 PM
whilst biding my time reading 'good housekeeping' in the dentists office - i found whoopie goldberg's recipie for bbq ribs.  it looks really good.

2C bbq sauce
1/2 C worcestershire sauce
1/3 C lemon juice
1/4 C dijon mustard
2 T OJ concentrate
2 T chopped garlic
1 T brown sugar
1 tsp thyme (ground)
1 tsp natural smoke flavor

1. boil the ribs, then simmer partly covered for 45 minutes.

2. mix the above marinade

3. cover the ribs with marinade and cook at 325 for 40-60 minutes.

I just use commercial BBQ sauce.

But first I simmer in V8 juice, then grill over charcoal.

Works for chicken, too.

Ignore my remark about giving Pianistylvania a wide berth; perhaps I should come over there after all!
