Chopin 3rd sonata question
on: August 29, 2007, 09:25:33 AM
In this passage in the exposition (3rd page, 2nd stave)

My teacher was skeptical to the Bb being tied, and that i should check other editions. Unfortunately i only have a crappy edition, so if any of you could help it would be great.

It is basicly the same in my edition. But the accent is over the top "b" in the right hand octave.

just to check...  you are referring to bar 33?

what version are you using?

my Henle have anything...  there's a long phrase mark all the way to bar 34 from the first B-flat, but it doesn't say anything about it having to be tied...

Lohshuhan is right - it's not tied.
