Sight reading?
on: September 17, 2007, 02:01:05 AM
I'm interested in this. What does it mean exactly? To play a piece perfectly the first time you read it? ???

Can someone really do that? It would represent a huge advantage when learning a new piece... you'd simply have to polish some parts and then play it, and play it, until you memorize it.

The question hereis , is that possible? ???

It may not be 'perfect', but it will be recognisable. It's really not that hard, if you put in the time every day. There's zillions of posts on this forum about it.
