Hi all,

Does anyone know if there's an effective two-hand piano transcription of Mozart's Fantasie in F minor for Mechanical Organ, K. 608? I know there is a four-hand transcription.

Thanks,
Steve

I cannot find out when this arranger died, but since the sheets are copyright 1929, i guess i am safe.

Wow--excellent, thanks!

Who do you think wrote the most effective four-hand transcription?

Hey, for the curious...I did a little research. Mozart wrote a piano four-hands version of his masterpiece, and Busoni transcribed a two-piano version of it. Radu Lupu and Murray Perahia (two of the best) recorded it on an album with other great four-hands/two-piano works:

Best-

Thanks so much!! Sorry for the late response--I had to go out of town for a few days. I really appreciate you posting it--this is exactly the score I was looking for. I'm going to order a copy, but this helps tremendously in the meantime while I wait for it to come in.

Radu Lupu and Murray Perahia have a recording of this transcription, but they altered it some to be closer to the original Mozart (I plan in one way or another to do the same). Radu Lupu and Daniel Barenboim also played this at Carnegie Hall.
