I just make joke. In fact Sweden does exist after all, and I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to ABBA for any confusion my false claims may have caused them over their 1974 Eurovision win.

I think the OP's original point is that there was a common myth that Sweden has / had a high suicide rate. Not to be confused with the fact that a lot of jumpers come from the shetland isles.

And I think the suggestion is, the fact that it is mythical rather than factual, is demonstrated by wikipedia's 'page of obviously honest-truth' [or 'pooh' for short]
