I'm just wondering who will be the first to answer "Yes" - or even "No" - and how long it will be before that happens...

Best,

Alistair (aged more than I was this time last year)

Why "yet"? And what makes you think that I haven't voted? (for the record, I haven't, it's true)...

ageless and timeless.  in theory.  ok.  so one needs a nap every afternoon.  cannot see well in the dark.  it's not like you're going to die after 40.  it's a natural phenomenon that just gets minutely worse every year thereafter - but the strange thing is - there are many things i can do much better now that i'm older.  in fact, i think i play the piano better.  i have more patience with children (sometimes).  and, i think that i understand how to be mellow better.  perhaps i was slightly ADHD before?  anyways - i don't feel like everything has to be accomplished in a day - but whatever i do, i try to 'streamline.'  age isn't terrible.

What's a "catergory"? One of the "categories" remains devoid of votes, actually; so what? Have you voted? In any case, does any of it matter, other than as something of (swiftly) passing interest?

I am perfectly "chilled" already thanks! In fact, almost too much so, given the nature of the current weather (see another thread re this). Anyway, Thal, I do hope that YOU have voted here (not that I've any idea one way or the other, of course).

For the record, I keep my wine in a cellar - a very small one, sadly, since I can afford neither a larger one nor the wine to put thereinto...

IF the poll (see above) is correct and the votes submitted are honest...who on Earth is the 70+ member?

I believe that pianistimo is in her forties, but it is supposedly unchivalrous to declare a woman's age...

It is evident that Elliott Carter is not a member of this forum (although one may reasonably suppose that this is hardly a surprising fact)...

Did you really? Mind you, I suspect that you can go even longer without mentioning Michael Finnissy. By the way, have you booked your ticket for 1 November at The Warehouse? (London, for anyone else interesed who may not already know its location).

Congrats.
Self-congtatulation is not the most appealing trait...

I rather doubt it and would not have the faintest idea what his chosen pseudonym would be if he were one...

Hide it? From whom? Are you serious?! Most people choose nicknames for forum IDs; mine is hardly that - indeed, it is far less of one than your own, surely?

Perhaps I prefer - and surely quite understandably - to confine my inventiveness to the music iteslf; indeed, not a lot of thought went into my forum ID but on the other hand it hardly concels my real identity as you implied it did earlier. In any case, you can't have it both ways!

Played straight into my hands there, didn't you?! (and there are, as you may imagine,  several senses in which I'd prefer you not to take that or any part thereof literally); but only once? Perhaps you might like to tell us all why that was?

Come on ladies, handbags away.

ahinton, go to your wine cellar, and get yourself a nice bottle of wine.  :D

Thal, poor yourself another pint. Or, better still, get your girlfriend to do it for you.  ;D
Thank you and Goodnight.
