Liszt- Verdi - Rigoletto Paraphrase
on: October 01, 2007, 07:47:52 AM
This is the piece I practiced recently, and I found that it's quite hard...
I recorded it on my 30-year-old yamaha upright U3.
Sorry for the bad quality of the recording,
and thanks for your feedbacks; that would be a great reward for me! ^^

I enjoyed your performance of this piece - a particular favourite of mine. You have a very good grasp of the work, and your performance didn't hold back anywhere. Yes there were a few blemishes occasionally, but these can be ironed out with practice. Just one point - and please don't be offended - but your Yamaha piano needs to be in better tune especially with a work like this in order to make better effect.
Many thanks for posting this.

Starts well but all the arabeques are a bit on the loud side and that makes it dull. Doesn't sound to me as if you know the opera.
