Mention others than Chopins Op 10-12 pleaseˇˇˇ

Thanks
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

That's the price you pay for being moderate in everything.  See, if I were you, my name would be Ilovepie.  But that's just me.

It's "role".

Let's give you the benefit of doubt, and assume that the topic can be interpreted in two ways:

1. The left hand part is more technically daunting and interesting, making that the "main role" of the piece.

2. The left hand has the melody, but is not technically interesting.

Now, since the topicstarter wrote something along the lines of "Don't mention op. 10 no. 12", it's fair to assume that he wants pieces from category 1. To which Rachmaninoff 32-12 obviously doesn't belong.

Alkan Op. 76 nos. 1 and 3 are extremely good for the left hand. I didn't mention Op. 76 no. 2 because the left hand is absent in that piece. Basically any left hand piece would do the trick.
