If England Win the Rugby World Cup??
on: October 20, 2007, 05:23:53 PM
If they do, will this make Rugby more popular than Football?

English Football is not at its best.

English Rugby seems to be peaking.

 ??? ??? ??? ???

Thank you and Goodnight.

I cannot watch it old chap, the stress might be too much.

I don't think it will ever overtake the popularity of football, but it will close the gap. Even Jimmy Greaves admits that he now prefers Rugby, as he is fed up with all the diving and cheating in football.

Football is now infested with overpaid ballerinas that collapse to the ground if someone comes within 10 yards of them. I am sick of all the diving, ridiculous claiming, referee harassment and general bad sportsmanship.

As for the National side, they are a complete disgrace and perhaps it might be a usefull wake up call should they not qualify for Europe.

Indeed, but perhaps Mr Zheer prefers to celebrate the incredible sporting victories of his home nation.

I think it was the toe wrestling world championships in 1908, but i am not sure.

They have some pretty damned good weightlifters as well.

Don't know why so many end up in Germany though. Perhaps because Austria and Switzerland are a little unfriendly at the moment and England is full up.
