Named Tempei Nakamura

I saw someone posting this on an other forum and I was blew away by his works! Maybe not really the taste of everyone who's on this forum, but Tempei Nakamura is a great composer and pianist imo! Also, I think he has a great technique too!

See/hear for yourself:

Well, I really like most of his works! What do you think about him?

I love this kind of music, but not these particular pieces.

I was raised with Japanese-minimalist-modern-classical music (....), so I'm very familiar with these types of compositions.  I've seen these vids around, and I think that with western society (in reference to the entire media/music scene) and it's fascination with Japanese culture and whatnot, that this guy can get pretty far.

But when it comes to this kind of music, I kinda set my standard at composers like Takahashi, Takemitsu, Tokuyama etc... (wow, alot of T's!)  And this also includes other east asian composers, like Tan Dun, Chen Yi, etc...

I'm not really "into" this kinda music. Do you have any videos to share of the music you're talking about? :)

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
