A small musical problem.

This thread is a follow up to a previous of mine  " Where do I go from here."  Thanks to those who gave me the advice about trying the Chopin etudes. I have started Opus 10 #1.  I actually enjoy experimenting with the mechanics of the piece and believe it will be of immense help to my technique.  I have also begun Beethoven's Sonata  #1 . The first few readings have actually gone suprising well.  I guess I must sight read better than I thought. Anyway there is one thng that is annoying me to no end. In the last movment After the opening there is a section which features 3 notes in the right hand against 2 notes in the left hand.  When I take this section at full tempo the cooridination is flawless. However when I slow down things begin to get uneven.   Any thoughts or ideas. It is annoying because I will certainley need to practice at a slower tempo to nail my dynamics and phrasing.

The other piece I am considering starting is a longer term project. It is Chopin's Ballade #3 in A flat.  What I need to know if there is something about it I am not seeing or understanding.  I have looked it over and studied its structure. I havent seen anything that presents such difficulties as to preclude me from learning it.  I am not talking about trotting it out in 3 months, but over the course of time it seems very duable. I was actually thinking of learning the C# minor section first.  If there is something I am missing on this or if there is a better way of learning the piece I would appreciate the insight.
