A bit of fun for charity
on: November 16, 2007, 08:48:31 PM
I reckon this could go down OK with quite a few contributors here:

www.freerice.com

Pretty much self-explanatory but for those who can't be bothered to click and find out, it's a game where you test your English vocabulary while donating grains of rice to the UN Food Programme. There are 50 levels - Alistair, you for one are expected to get to 50!
Instrumentalists are all wannabe singers. Discuss.

grains of rice?  they want to control the worlds food production.  the 'innocent' sounding irritating splicers of genetic food material and seed wreckers.  those people need crash courses in tree planting (the opposite of what is happening in the rain forests) and how to not mess up seed production.  and, not to think they own every last seed on earth.  owning the world is a scheme.

outsmart them and start saving and planting and growing stuff yourself.  don't outsource your charity.

Free Rice, did you say? Have you told him? (In joke. No explanations necessary or offered).

Whether or not I "get to 50" (although your confidence in me is genuinely and deeply appreciated) will perhaps depend on things expressed in the other thread about life expectancy - perhaps...

Best,

Alistair
