Liebestraume- Nocturne No. 3- by F. Liszt (by my 12 year old KID)
on: November 23, 2007, 04:59:42 PM
We are quite proud with the good progress my son has had with
the piano since he started playing in early 2005 at 9 1/2 years old.
He recently turned 12 and we would be happy for any advice or
comments on his performance of Liebestraume. We also would
like to request that the advice be simplified for a 12 year old who
is learning English as a 2nd language.
Many, many thanks in advance for helping with his learning!
Note: comments by daniloperusina was based on an earlier
posted audio recording and subsequently deleted
in favor of the above YouTube video.

You have all reasons to be proud!
The fire around 02:00 is excellent!
The balance between melody (bass) and accompaniment (treble) in the beginning is something he could work a bit with. The accompaniment should be softer.
Impressive progress!

Thank you, danilo
,
The advice is as concise and clear as can be.
Enzo has a tendency for a much louder and less dynamic
accompaniment and occasionally gets reminded about this.
He is working on this.
Thanks also for the advice on kv330!
