Religious debates
on: November 29, 2007, 08:33:02 PM
Ok, so we have probably figured out by now that everyone has different religious views, and are prepared to stand up for them. That's great, but can you either do it by PM, agree to disagree, or just accept the other person's point of view. Can it be that hard to realise that not everyone must believe the same? person X doesn't have to believe the same as person Y. All of this argument is stupid and is contaminating perfectly good threads.

And no-one say that recent contaminations have been pianistimo's fault, becaue while she was away, there were plenty of threads which got turned.

My rant is over.

Everyone should be able to defend the positions they take. Be it religion, politics or whatever.

If they can't they shouldn't take that position.

Faith is too personal and subjective a matter.  Best to avoid the topic, unless offending others is your goal.

I think its better if we continue flaming and rambling.   :D

btw, these religion debates are part of Pianostreet for i don't know how long, but at least since i have first visited this forum (much before my registration). So, quite a long time. It's just funny - a characteristic of pianostreet. And we should thank pianistimo as this wouldn't be possible without her  ;D

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
