Tchaik Grande Sonata

I just heard a recording of this piece- haven't seen any posts or discussions abt it over here. I enjoyed listening to it. Why isn't it played more often?

Because it's trash. Tedious, structureless unintelligent writing and the music goes absolutely nowhere. Hardly seems worth the sixty pages of studying. That's what most of the people I talked to say. I more or less agree, it's indeed tedious and way too long, but it has some nice moments though.
